The purpose of this site is to try and re-unite the Brown family of HalesOwen.

We already have a couple of very good leads which hopefully, will prompt memories and encourage you to contact us with information.

As a result of the history of the Imperial Spade and Shovel Works being published on the internet in 1997 contact has been made with the great, great granddaughter of John Brown. Another branch has now been succesfully added to the tree.

We still have gaps in the tree and desperatly require a link beyond John Brown (senior) to open up the earlier history of our family and help explain the reasons for their settlement in the HalesOwen area.
